Nashville is jam-packed with events this New Year’s Eve, but none draws a bigger crowd than Music City Midnight. This annual event is totally free to the public and features food and drink, live performances by huge music stars, and much more.
Music City Midnight
Music City Midnight is the place to be this New Year’s Eve in Nashville, so make your way to Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park at 4 p.m. on Dec. 31. You and your family will get to enjoy an afternoon of music from country superstar Keith Urban, the legendary Peter Frampton, Judah & the Lion, and Caitlyn Smith, to name a few.
Food trucks will set up shop all around the park, so there’ll be no shortage of food options, and the event has access to free Wi-Fi and phone charging stations. At the beginning of the day, there will be a Raising of the Note Ceremony that kids will enjoy.
Music Note Drop
At midnight, the signature Music Note Drop®, featuring a massive red music note dropping almost 150 feet right to mark the start of 2019, will begin. As the note drops, it will trigger an epic display of confetti cannons and fireworks!
The festival offers vacation packages with travel and hotel options, VIP Party tickets, and memorabilia, so even if you’re not from the Nashville area, it’s easy to spend your New Year’s here and enjoy Music City Midnight.
We hope that 2019 is full of good things for you and your family. If you need a new car or auto service next year or beyond, come visit us at Two Rivers Ford.
