Ford Performance and ARB 4X4 Accessories Will Design Off-Road Parts

Ford Performance announced that it is collaborating with ARB 4×4 Accessories to design and then develop vehicle recovery parts as well as off-road accessories. The components, including a new bumper, will help off-road enthusiasts handle adventures off the beaten path.

Winch-capable Front Bumper

Ford Performance and ARB 4X4 Accessories first worked on the new Ford Performance by ARB winch-capable front bumper. Meant for the Ford Ranger, the bumper has an Integrit® powder coat and is made from welded sheet steel.

Ford Performance and ARB 4X4 Accessories ensured that the winch-capable front bumper doesn’t affect the functionality of the safety systems in the Ranger. As such, available Adaptive Cruise Control with Forward Collision Warning and Ford Co-Pilot 360™ driver-assist technologies are still helpful features.

Array Of Accessories

You can also opt for an array of accessories for the bumper and still maintain the bumper’s off-road functionality. You can easily install the winch, thanks to the integrated mount. The available split center pan also allows you to conveniently access the winch controls.

You can have additional accessories for the winch-capable front bumper, such as sand flag mounts, RIGID® SR-Series LED lightbars, jacking points for off-road jacks and WARN® Industries winches.

Leveling Kits Are Available for Ford F-150 and Ranger

To prepare your truck for your next off-road adventure, you can now purchase leveling kits for the Ford F-150 and Ranger. These kits allow you to have a more customized truck and have improved off-road performance.

Off-Road Leveling Kits

Offered by Ford Performance Parts, the off-road leveling kits give you more ground clearance so you can handle difficult terrains. They feature new aluminum FOX™ shock bodies for sufficient cooling capacity and new front coilover springs. The kits also include upper front mounts along with polyurethane bushings to create a quieter cabin experience.

With the off-road leveling kit, the approach angle of the Ranger has about a 21 percent increase, while the approach angle of the F-150 has about a 22 percent increase when it has a 145-inch wheelbase.

Increased Customization

Eric Cin, global director, Ford Vehicle Personalization and Accessories, said, “Truck customers are asking for options for increased capability and customization, and the new leveling suspension kits for Ranger and F-150 deliver on that need.”

Where To Purchase

You can purchase these kits through a Ford dealer and have them installed at the dealership. The kits are available for off-road enthusiasts driving a four-wheel-drive 2019 Ford F-150 or a four-wheel-drive 2019 Ranger.
