Crunch Time in Smashville

Crunch Time in Smashville

We’re about 2 weeks into April now, one of the greatest sports months, if not the greatest. The Masters wrapped up yesterday, with an exciting weekend full of major storylines, like Tiger Woods’ return to pro golf. We saw MLB Opening Day last week, which is always the unofficial start to summer in my mind. The NBA season is winding down, with the Memphis Grizzlies playing some of the best basketball in the league. They’re a real contender for that NBA Finals trophy…

But even with all of that, April in Nashville means it’s clutch time for the Nashville Predators. The Preds currently sit inside the playoff bubble, at 6th place in the Western Conference. However, there are as many as 6 teams behind them, that could make some noise as we come down the stretch. Nashville has 10 games left, with mostly pretty tough matchups left.

With the exception of a date with San Jose, Chicago, and Arizona, every game from here on out is against a team that is currently above the Predators in the standings.

If the Predators want to stay inside that playoff bubble, they’re going to have to earn it. BIG TIME.

If the boys in gold do manage to earn a playoff spot, there will be a good bit of travel ahead of them. Lucky for them, GNASH came out to Two Rivers Ford recently to pick up his new ride!

Come on out to Two Rivers, at 76 Belinda Pkwy in Mt. Juliet, and let’s hook you up with something just as cool! Our non-commissioned sales staff will be waiting!
